Vermont High School Basketball - Peoples Academy tops Lyndon Institute
January 23, 2025: Morrisville, VT 05661 Peoples Academy Wolves (Morrisville, VT) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), 45-29 in a league match.
With the victory, Peoples Academy advances its record to 13-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Spaulding (Barre, VT) to meet the Crimson Tide in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Crimson Tide enter the match with a record of 7-4. Spaulding lost 46-43 in their recent non-league match against Oxbow (Bradford, VT)
The Vikings now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Region for a Capital contest on Tuesday, January 28. Lyndon Institute will battle a Rangers team coming off a 62-35 league loss to Oxbow (Bradford, VT). The Rangers record now stands at 3-7.
