The North Country Union Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Lyndon Institute Vikings to 22 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Thetford Academy for a Capital game on Thursday, January 23. North Country Union will confront a Panthers team coming off a 54-33 league loss to Oxbow (Bradford, VT). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Lyndon Institute falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Peoples Academy (Morrisville, VT) to confront the Wolves in a Capital game on Thursday, January 23. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 12-2. Peoples Academy won 43-31 in their recent league game against Montpelier (Montpelier, VT)
