In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting North Country Union Falcons basketball team scored a big 64-27 triumph over the Spaulding Crimson Tide.

The Falcons (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against U-32 (Montpelier, VT). The Raiders go into the Capital contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, U-32 was trounced by Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT), 60-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Crimson Tide battle the Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Spaulding will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Highlanders go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 44-34 league win over Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT).
