The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) and the host Lake Region Rangers (Orleans, VT), observed North Country Union's basketball team overwhelm Lake Region by a score of 51-21.

The Falcons (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT). The Lancers come into the Capital challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Lamoille trounced Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT), 56-15, in a league challenge.
