The North Country Union Falcons basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Thetford Academy Panthers to 23 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Randolph for a Capital game on Tuesday, January 28. North Country Union will confront a Ghosts team coming off a 69-44 league loss to Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT). The Ghosts record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Thetford Academy falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Harwood (Moretown, VT) to confront the Highlanders in a Capital game on Tuesday, January 28.
