Washington High School Basketball - Mount Vernon thwarts Sehome
January 23, 2025: Bellingham, WA 98225 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA) and the host Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA), observed Mount Vernon's basketball team knock off Sehome by a score of 30-17.
The Bulldogs (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Burlington-Edison was knocked off by Ferndale (Ferndale, WA), 43-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mariners encounter the Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Sehome will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 57-14 non-league loss to Bellingham (Bellingham, WA).
