January 23, 2025: Auburn, CA 95603 In Thursday's league test, the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) basketball team toppled the visiting Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA), by a tally of 59-42.
The Hillmen now possess a 11-10 record. They play next when they host River Valley for a game on Wednesday, January 29. Placer will confront a Falcons team coming off a 58-28 league win over Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Yuba City falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Honkers host Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA) to confront the Miners in a game on Wednesday, January 29. The Miners go into the game with a record of 14-7. Nevada Union won 52-47 in their recent league game against Roseville (Roseville, CA)
