In Friday's non-league test, the Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) basketball squad trounced the visiting Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ), by a score of 67-28.

Next, the Lions encounter the Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 27. Liberty will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 43-36 league loss to Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ).

With the loss, Centennial falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ) to play the Knights in a 5A Northwest Valley bout on Monday, January 26. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Lake Havasu lost 87-10 in their recent league bout against Kellis (Glendale, AZ)
