Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Red Rock Central Falcons (Lamberton, MN), 59-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Murray County Central upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN) to play the Eagles in a A Section 3 bout on Thursday, January 27. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Southwest Minnesota Christian won 76-43 in their recent league bout against Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN)

Next up, the Falcons play the Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Red Rock Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 63-62 non-league loss to New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN).
