Illinois High School Basketball - Monmouth-Roseville trounces Kewanee
January 24, 2022: Monmouth, IL 61462 The Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL), 66-23 in Monday's non-league test.
The Titans (19-4) will now prepare for their test against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Rockets go into the Three Rivers - West test with a 18-6 record. In their last test, Rockridge was trounced by Sherrard (Sherrard, IL), 36-32, in a league test.
The Boilermakers now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to St. Bede for a Three Rivers - East test on Thursday, January 27. Kewanee will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 53-27 league win over Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Bruins record now stands at 10-12.
