Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lakeview tops Wilmington
January 24, 2022: New Wilmington, PA 16142 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA) and the host Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA), saw Lakeview's basketball squad knock off Wilmington by a count of 55-39.
With the victory, Lakeview upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to Greenville (Greenville, PA) to play the Trojans in a District 10 Region 4 challenge on Monday, January 31. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-3.
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 27. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 51-41 league win over Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA).
