California High School Basketball - Aragon nips Carlmont
January 24, 2022: Belmont, CA 94002 Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), 35-33 in a league bout.
With the victory, Aragon upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Capuchino (San Bruno, CA) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Wednesday, January 26. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Capuchino lost 41-23 in their recent league bout against Mills (Millbrae, CA)
Next up, the Scots play the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 26. Carlmont will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 35-5 non-league loss to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA).
