Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop Canevin knocked off by Highlands
January 24, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15205 The Highlands Golden Rams basketball team scored 93 points and held the host Bishop Canevin Crusaders to 79 in the Golden Rams non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Rams now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a WPIAL 4A 1 contest on Friday, January 27. Highlands will meet a Talbots team coming off a 83-70 non-league win over Butler (Butler, PA). The Talbots record now stands at 14-1.
The Crusaders (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth Prep (Pittsburgh, PA). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Nazareth Prep ran past Propel Montour (McKees Rocks, PA), 63-18, in a league contest.
