Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shady Side Academy nudges Bishop Canevin
January 28, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15238 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA), by a margin of 46-43.
The Bulldogs (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Rams go into the WPIAL 3A 3 outing with a 4-16 record. In their last outing, Ligonier Valley got by Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA), 61-26, in a league outing.
The Crusaders now own a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Propel Braddock Hills for a WPIAL 2A 2 outing on Friday, February 3.
