Iowa High School Basketball - Le Mars winner over Bishop Heelan Catholic
January 24, 2023: Sioux City, IA 51105 The Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA) basketball felled the host Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA), 62-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Yellowjackets go into the Missouri River test with a 1-15 record. In their last test, Jefferson was beaten by Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA), 70-35, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sioux City West for a Missouri River test on Friday, January 27. Bishop Heelan Catholic will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 66-51 league loss to Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-7.
