January 24, 2023: Bowdon, GA 30108 The W D Mohammed Caliphs (Atlanta, GA) basketball knocked off the host Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA), 63-43 in Tuesday's league test.
The Caliphs (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Atlanta Classical Academy (Atlanta, GA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Atlanta Classical Academy notched a victory over Armuchee (Rome, GA), 64-61, in a non-league test.
The Red Devils now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Temple for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Bowdon will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 49-46 league win over Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 16-4.
