January 24, 2023: Walpole, MA 02081 The Walpole Timberwolves basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Brookline Warriors to 61 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Timberwolves now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newton North for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Walpole will meet a Tigers team coming off a 60-35 non-league win over Braintree (Braintree, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-3.
The Warriors (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Milton (Milton, MA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Milton was nudged by Wellesley (Wellesley, MA), 56-34, in a league contest.
