Texas High School Basketball - West Plains overwhelmed by Canyon
January 24, 2023: Canyon, TX 79015 The Canyon Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting West Plains Wolves to 26 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Borger for a 4A Region I District 4 contest on Friday, January 27. Canyon will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-41 league loss to Perryton (Perryton, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-18.
The Wolves (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Raiders come into the 4A Region I District 4 contest with a 19-8 record. In their last contest, Randall triumphed over Dumas (Dumas, TX), 71-39, in a league contest.
