Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), 75-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Mill Creek upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Hawks host Buford (Buford, GA) to clash with the Wolves in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout on Friday, January 27. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Buford won 86-79 in their recent league bout against Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA)

Next up, the Black Knights clash with the Collins Hill Eagles (Suwanee, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout, on Friday, January 27. Central Gwinnett will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 49-45 league win over Dacula (Dacula, GA).
