January 24, 2023: Cosby, TN 37722 The Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN) basketball knocked off the visiting Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN), 65-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Northview Academy (Kodak, TN). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Northview Academy went down by Gibbs (Corryton, TN), 68-63, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Cumberland Gap for a 2A District 2 test on Friday, January 27. Pigeon Forge will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Washburn (Washburn, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 0-13.
