Connecticut High School Basketball - Cromwell tops Old Saybrook
January 24, 2023: Old Saybrook, CT 06475 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) and the host Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT), saw Cromwell's basketball squad knock off Old Saybrook by a tally of 69-51.
With the victory, Cromwell improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT) to play the Blue Devils in a Shoreline challenge on Friday, January 27. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Coginchaug Regional won 71-59 in their recent league challenge against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT)
Next up, the Rams play the Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Friday, January 27. Old Saybrook will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 45-41 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT).
