Connecticut High School Basketball - Cromwell overwhelms Haddam-Killingworth
January 6, 2023: Cromwell, CT 06416 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) and the visiting Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT), saw Cromwell's basketball squad wallop Haddam-Killingworth by a count of 74-40.
With the victory, Cromwell upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Portland (Portland, CT) to play the Highlanders in a Shoreline challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Portland won 56-51 in their recent league challenge against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT)
Next up, the Cougars play the Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Monday, January 9. Haddam-Killingworth will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 50-49 league win over Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT).
