The Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), 82-77 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hornets (15-0) will now prepare for their test against Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD). The Wolverines go into the Montgomery 3A/2A test with a 0-14 record. In their last test, Watkins Mill was tipped by Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD), 72-44, in a non-league test.
