Maryland High School Basketball - Gaithersburg overwhelms Watkins Mill
December 9, 2022: Gaithersburg, MD 20877 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD) and the visiting Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD), saw Gaithersburg's basketball squad wallop Watkins Mill by a tally of 94-24.
With the victory, Gaithersburg improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD) to play the Screamin' Eagles in a Montgomery 4A West challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Screamin' Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Wolverines play the Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) in a Montgomery 3A/2A challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Watkins Mill will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
