January 24, 2023: Jacksonville, IL 62650 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) and the visiting Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL), saw Jacksonville's basketball squad overcome Decatur Eisenhower by a tally of 56-43.
With the victory, Jacksonville improves its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Crimsons travel to Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to confront the Titans in a Central State Eight challenge on Friday, January 27. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 10-12. Glenwood lost 47-40 in their recent league challenge against Rochester (Rochester, IL)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) in a Central State Eight challenge, on Friday, January 27. Decatur Eisenhower will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 53-48 league loss to MacArthur (Decatur, IL).
