January 24, 2023: Ecorse, MI 48229 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ecorse Raiders (Ecorse, MI) and the visiting Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI), saw Ecorse's basketball squad overcome Harper Woods by a tally of 77-64.
With the victory, Ecorse improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host University Prep (Detroit, MI) to play the Panthers in a Michigan Metro challenge on Friday, January 27. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. University Prep lost 54-50 in their recent non-league challenge against West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors (Southfield, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Harper Woods will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 52-48 non-league win over Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI).
