Michigan High School Basketball - Harper Woods crushes Westfield Prep
March 1, 2023: Harper Woods, MI 48225 Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Westfield Prep Warriors (Redford, MI), 63-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Harper Woods upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Pioneers host Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Avondale won 40-39 in their recent non-league bout against Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, MI)
Next up, the Warriors play the Universal Academy Eagles (Detroit, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 2. Westfield Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 45-42 non-league win over Star International Academy (Dearborn Heights, MI).
