Illinois High School Basketball - Wheaton North knocked off by Glenbard West
January 24, 2023: Wheaton, IL 60187 The Glenbard West Hilltoppers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Wheaton North Falcons to 45 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Proviso West for a West Suburban - Silver contest on Friday, January 27. Glenbard West will meet a Panthers team coming off a 69-65 non-league loss to Westinghouse (Chicago, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-12.
The Falcons (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The North Stars enter the DuKane contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, St. Charles North ran past Jacobs (Algonquin, IL), 64-59, in a non-league contest.
