January 24, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 The Great Bridge Wildcats basketball team (Chesapeake, VA), was overwhelmed 80-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian River for a Southeastern battle on Friday, January 27. King's Fork will confront a Braves team coming off a 50-48 non-league loss to Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA). The Braves record now stands at 5-8.
The Wildcats (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Bruins come into the Southeastern battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Western Branch trounced Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 81-54, in a league battle.
