In Tuesday's league match, the host Harpeth Indians basketball team scored a decisive 71-50 triumph over the Sycamore War Eagles.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, TN) in a 2A District 9 match, on Friday, January 27. Harpeth will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 16-3 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Forrest (Chapel Hill, TN).

With the defeat, Sycamore moves to 4-16 on the year. The War eagles host Cheatham County Central (Ashland City, TN) to meet the Cubs in a 2A District 9 match on Friday, January 27.
