The Highland Park Scots basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Irving Tigers to 33 in the Scots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Scots now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richardson for a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, January 27. Highland Park will meet a Eagles team coming off a 60-44 league win over Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 20-9.

The Tigers (9-16) will now prepare for their contest against Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Mustangs enter the 6A Region I District 7 contest with a 18-10 record. In their last contest, Pearce triumphed over Berkner (Richardson, TX), 50-43, in a league contest.
