January 24, 2023: Ashland, OH 44805 The Mapleton Mounties routed the visiting Hillsdale Falcons basketball team by a final score of 81-51 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mounties face the St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH) in a Firelands game, on Friday, January 27. Mapleton will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Flyers enter the game with a 6-8 record after their 60-38 non-league loss to Huron (Huron, OH).
With the defeat, Hillsdale moves to 4-8 on the year. The Falcons travel to Dalton (Dalton, OH) to face the Bulldogs in a Wayne County game on Friday, February 3. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 8-6.
