The Hoxie Indians basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Russell Broncos to 38 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quinter for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Hoxie will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 83-13 non-league win over Golden Plains (Rexford, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.

The Broncos (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Goodland (Goodland, KS). The Cowboys enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Goodland was nudged by Garden City (Garden City, KS), 63-55, in a non-league contest.
