California High School Basketball - Kennedy can't hold off Swett

The Swett Warriors basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Kennedy Eagles to 54 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Cerrito for a Tri-County - Stone contest on Friday, January 27. Swett will battle a Gauchos team coming off a 71-60 league win over Hercules (Hercules, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 9-13.

The Eagles (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Albany (Albany, CA). The Cougars enter the Tri-County - Stone contest with a 11-11 record. In their last contest, Albany nudged Novato (Novato, CA), 70-47, in a non-league contest.
