Iowa High School Basketball - Lenox tops Southwest Valley
January 24, 2023: Corning, IA 50841 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) and the host Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), saw Lenox's basketball squad knock off Southwest Valley by a count of 64-49.
With the victory, Lenox upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wayne (Corydon, IA) to play the Falcons in a Pride of Iowa challenge on Friday, January 27. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Wayne won 54-36 in their recent league challenge against East Union (Afton, IA)
Next up, the play the Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA) in a Pride of Iowa challenge, on Friday, January 27. Southwest Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 54-39 league win over Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA).
