Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Southwest Christian School Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), 63-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Midland Christian upgrades its record to 19-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX) to play the Cardinals in a TAPPS 5A District 1 bout on Friday, January 27. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 20-13. Fort Worth Christian won 57-44 in their recent league bout against All Saints (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 bout, on Friday, January 27. Southwest Christian School will attempt to upgrade on its 18-10 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 21-12 record after their 60-56 league loss to Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX).
