The Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Wagner Red Raiders to 40 in the Titans league victory on Tuesday.

The Titans now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winner for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will battle a Warriors team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Todd County (Mission, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 10-1.

The Red Raiders (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Scotland (Scotland, SD). The Highlanders come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Scotland triumphed over Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD), 47-46, in a league contest.
