Illinois High School Basketball - Mundelein holds off Waukegan
January 24, 2023: Mundelein, IL 60060 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) and the visiting Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), saw Mundelein's basketball squad hold off Waukegan by a tally of 74-71.
With the victory, Mundelein improves its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL) to confront the Patriots in a North Suburban challenge on Friday, January 27. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Stevenson won 50-40 in their recent league challenge against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) in a North Suburban challenge, on Friday, January 27. Waukegan will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 57-45 league win over Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL).
