Alabama High School Basketball - Pike County fells New Brockton
January 24, 2023: Brundidge, AL 36010 Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL), 58-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Pike County upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Bulldogs host Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Cottonwood won 61-60 in their recent league bout against Geneva County (Hartford, AL)
Next up, the Gamecocks play the Northside Methodist Academy Knights (Dothan, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. New Brockton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 53-36 league loss to Houston Academy (Dothan, AL).
