North Carolina High School Basketball - West Davidson knocked off by Salisbury
January 24, 2023: Lexington, NC 27295 The Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored 61 points and held the host West Davidson Dragons to 41 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Davidson for a 1A/2A Conference 33 contest on Friday, January 27. Salisbury will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 80-69 non-league loss to North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-12.
The Dragons (3-16) will now prepare for their contest against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs enter the 1A/2A Conference 33 contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Thomasville ran past South Granville (Creedmoor, NC), 60-55, in a non-league contest.
