Michigan High School Basketball - Adams knocked off by Athens
January 24, 2023: Rochester, MI 48306 The Athens Red Hawks basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Adams Highlanders to 48 in the Red Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Hawks now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Farmington for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Athens will battle a Raiders team coming off a 67-36 non-league win over Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 13-0.
The Highlanders (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Berkley (Berkley, MI). The Bears enter the Oakland - Blue contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Berkley ran past Seaholm (Birmingham, MI), 34-30, in a league contest.
