North Carolina High School Basketball - Ridgecroft nips Albemarle School

Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC), 56-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Ridgecroft upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Rams travel to Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC) to play the Raiders in a NCISAA Tarheel bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 17-2.

Next up, the Colts play the Terra Ceia Christian Knights (Pantego, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Albemarle School will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 51-32 league loss to Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC).
