Texas High School Basketball - Legacy Christian Academy tops Brighter Horizons Academy
January 24, 2023: Frisco, TX 75034 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Legacy Christian Academy Eagles (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Brighter Horizons Academy Stars (Garland, TX), saw Legacy Christian Academy's basketball squad knock off Brighter Horizons Academy by a count of 42-28.
With the victory, Legacy Christian Academy upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bishop Dunne (Dallas, TX) to play the Falcons in a TAPPS 5A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-16.
Next up, the Stars play the Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep (Dallas, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Brighter Horizons Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 79-7 league loss to Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX).
