South Dakota High School Basketball - Tri-Valley nudges Canton
January 24, 2023: Colton, SD 57018 Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD), 53-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Elk Point-Jefferson won 45-37 in their recent non-league bout against Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD)
Next up, the C-Hawks clash with the Gayville-Volin Raiders (Gayville, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Canton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 55-50 league loss to Menno (Menno, SD).
