Illinois High School Basketball - Triad tipped by Carlyle
January 24, 2023: Troy, IL 62294 The Carlyle Indians basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Triad Knights to 39 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sparta for a Cahokia - Illinois contest on Thursday, January 26. Carlyle will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-16 non-league win over Elverado/Zeigler-Royalton (Elkville, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-6.
The Knights (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL). The Eagles enter the Mississippi Valley contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Civic Memorial was nudged by O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL), 64-42, in a non-league contest.
