Illinois High School Basketball - Waterloo tops Carlyle
December 29, 2022: Waterloo, IL 62298 Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Carlyle Indians (Carlyle, IL), 52-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Waterloo upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 12-2. Althoff Catholic won 57-35 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia (Columbia, IL)
Next up, the Indians play the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Carlyle will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 57-35 non-league loss to Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL).
