The Cuero Gobblers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Fox Tech Buffaloes to 19 in the Gobblers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Gobblers now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Vernia for a 4A Region IV District 28 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Cuero will battle a Bears team coming off a 76-34 league win over San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Bears record now stands at 20-9.

The Buffaloes (8-19) will now prepare for their contest against Young Women's Leadership Academy (San Antonio, TX). The Cardinals enter the 4A Region IV District 28 contest with a 11-11 record.
