Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard West trounces Metea Valley

January 24, 2023: Aurora, IL 60502

The Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) basketball crushed the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 65-30 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hilltoppers (16-9) will now prepare for their test against Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Panthers go into the West Suburban - Silver test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Proviso West was trounced by Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL), 45-35, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 5-18 record. They play next when they host Waubonsie Valley for a DuPage Valley test on Thursday, January 26. Metea Valley will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 68-31 non-league win over Addison Trail (Addison, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 16-5.
