The Naperville Central Redhawks basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs to 41 in the Redhawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Redhawks now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Park for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Naperville Central will battle a Lancers team coming off a 70-51 league loss to Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 10-9.

The Mustangs (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Barbs enter the DuPage Valley contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, DeKalb was routed by Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL), 41-29, in a non-league contest.
