Illinois High School Basketball - Metea Valley ripped by Neuqua Valley

The Neuqua Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Metea Valley Mustangs to 34 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marian Catholic for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Neuqua Valley will battle a Spartans team coming off a 59-30 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 7-3.

The Mustangs (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Kaneland was crushed by Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 66-50, in a non-league bout.
